Desde la Secretaría de Educación Municipal, facilitamos el regreso a las Aulas de aquellos estudiantes que han abandonado el sistema educativo o la opción de nivelar a los que estando dentro del sistema están en riesgo de abandonarlo por estar en extraedad.

Una apuesta piloto del Ministerio de Educación Nacional, para niños, niñas y jóvenes de nuestro municipio, que por diversos motivos no lograron avanzar en sus estudios de básica primaria y secundaria.

“Importante estrategia de nivelación de estudiantes tanto de la zona rural y urbana, que permita, por un lado, garantizar la permanencia y regreso de aquellos estudiantes que por encontrarse en condición de extraedad han abandonado el sistema educativo y, por otro lado, brindar herramientas que permitan que los jóvenes se nivelen en cuanto a su edad y grado y continúen sus estudios”

Estudios de básica primaria en edades entre los 10 a 15 años. En casos excepcionales, y acorde al desarrollo socio-afectivo y cognitivo se atenderá a jóvenes entre 16 y 17 años, para sus necesidades en formación. Para los grados 6°7° 8° y 9° de educación básica Secundaria, hay disponibilidad de cupos bajo la modalidad extra-edad para jóvenes de 13 años en adelante. (Dos grados en un año lectivo).

Nuestras instituciones educativas están atentas a recibirlos y brindar todas las garantías para su culminación de sus grados de escolaridad, para que su proceso de formación sea de logros, satisfacciones y metas cumplidas en menos tiempo.

Continuaremos brindando atención a sus familias para prevenir dichas problemáticas.

Para esta vigencia, se da inicio a los acuerdos de coordinación y articulación de la “Ruta de Deserción Escolar”  donde los actores, en conjunto, buscan potenciar las brechas que presenta actualmente nuestro municipio en temas de deserción escolar, las Instituciones Educativas Oficiales focalizadas para la vigencia son: Institución Educativa San Francisco de Asís, Institución Educativa Divino Niño y Ia Institución Educativa Ciudadela Siglo XXI.

La Implementación de «RUTA DE DESERCIÓN ESCOLAR» continúa en  articulación con los agentes del Sistema Nacional de Bienestar Familiar: Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar, Policía de Infancia y Adolescencia, Secretaría de Gobierno, Secretaría de Inclusión y Reconciliación Social, Secretaría de Salud, Secretaría de Cultura, Deporte y recreación, Secretaría de Educación Municipal, se da inicio a los acuerdos de coordinación y articulación en donde los actores en conjunto buscan potenciar las brechas que presenta actualmente nuestro municipio en temas de deserción escolar.

Desde la Secretaría de Educación, continuamos acompañando a los docentes y directivos en la consolidación de prácticas innovadoras y transformadoras para beneficio de nuestros niños, niñas, y adolescentes de nuestro territorio.

Este evento del Programa de Tutorías para el Aprendizaje y  Formación Integral 3.0 (PTA FI 3.0),fue liderado por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional, y su orientadora Olga Sevilla.

Con la estrategia #GrandesVecinos, acompañamos con la oferta de Servicios y realizamos búsqueda activa de nuestros niños, niñas y adolescentes en la  Urbanización La Gloria.  Desde la Secretaría de Educación hacemos grande a Florencia.

Por la cual se establece las Políticas, procedimientos y el cronograma del proceso de Gestión de la Cobertura Educativa para el año escolar 2026 en los niveles preescolar, básica y media para el municipio de Florencia y se dictan otras disposiciones.

Con el propósito de construir espacios de empatía,  afianzar mejores relaciones y desarrollar el potencial en entornos educativos, la Secretaría de Educación, en cabeza del Dr. Fener De Los Ríos Barrera, Secretario de Despacho y el equipo de rectores de las Instituciones Educativas, participaron del taller  denominado “liderazgo estratégico” organizado por la UNIMINUTO en articulación con la alcaldía.
